Who we are
Paul Martin has been a music educator for over 18 years with experience in grades 6-12th in small & large schools. His bands have earned sweepstakes along with success at the UIL Area & State Marching Contests. Mr. Martin currently teaches at DeKalb ISD and is a business partner for On The Field Music. Music created by OTFM has been widely successful at the UIL State Marching Contest along with winning several other states!
Prior to band directing, Mr. Martin had a successful trumpet studio with many students earning a spot in the ATSSB & TMEA All State Bands along with several going on to become musicians and band directors.
Mr. Martin has been actively involved in judging marching & concert band contests and solo & ensemble contests along being an active clinician. For many years, he was involved in church music and has served as Music Director for several churches across Texas.
Mr. Martin resides in New Boston, TX where he is closer to family and his roots.
